Couponing has its own special language.  In order to skillfully use the coupons, you need to understand the wording and what it means.

1. BOGO/B1G1 – Buy one, get one free

2. $1/1 – $1 off of one product purchased

3. $1/2 – $1 off of two products purchased

4. Per purchase – 1 coupon per item listed on the coupon (10 coupons needs 10 items)

5. Per transaction – 1 coupon for each order/time you pay. You can have multiple transactions in one shopping trip – just use the dividers!

6. Per customer – 1 coupon per person/per visit

7. Store coupon – Can only use that coupon at that particular store (except for Walmart who accepts them from other stores)

8. Vender/Manufacturer coupon – coupons put out by the manufacturer of the product.

9. Catalina coupon – coupon that prints at the register and is only able to be used at that store (except for Walmart who accepts them from other stores)

10. “Good on any size” includes trial-sized items
